My background
After graduating in Chiropractic from the Barcelona College of Chiropractic (BCC) and completing the Master's in Chiropractic at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in 2017, I have been practising in Barcelona ever since. University-level training accredited by the European Council on Chiropractic Education (ECCE) is the standard the Spanish Chiropractic Association (AEQ) requires of all its members.
I am AEQ member #1410 and, through the AEQ, I'm linked to the European Chiropractors' Union (ECU) and to the World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC). This network keeps the practice at Quiropràctica Catalunya aligned with the latest international standards.
My approach
Every patient arrives with a different story and a different body. My work always starts with listening and assessing before acting: an unhurried case history, a full postural and orthopaedic evaluation, and a clear explanation of what I find before applying any adjustment. If your case calls for imaging, a physiotherapist or a specialist, I'll tell you and refer you. No mandatory packages, no closed plans.
I see chiropractic care as a tool to improve quality of life, not as a magic fix. My goal is twofold: to support you with what brings you to the practice today, and to give you the tools so your spine and nervous system work better long-term.
Techniques I use
In the practice I combine specific and low-force manual spinal adjustment techniques depending on what each case needs:
- → Diversified: the most studied and widely used manual adjustment technique in chiropractic, based on precise and specific impulses to the spinal segment.
- → Low-force techniques (Activator, SOT, drop): instrument-assisted or drop-table adjustments for seniors, expectant mothers, babies and osteoporosis.
- → Joint mobilisation and soft-tissue work as a complement when muscular or capsular tension needs to be released.
- → Personalised posture advice so the care at the practice carries over between visits.
Languages and who I see
I work in Spanish, Catalan and English. In the practice I see a wide mix: professionals in the Eixample and 22@ with postural pain and tension headaches, families from Gràcia, Sant Gervasi and Sarrià, urban athletes (runners, cyclists, padel, CrossFit), expectant mothers, babies and children for postural follow-up, seniors looking for mobility, and international residents and visitors who want care in their language.
Beyond the practice
Every year I take part in continuing education to stay current with evidence and new techniques in the profession. The AEQ and the ECU run conferences and courses that I attend regularly.
